Why do we collect your data?

We collect your personal details exclusively within the legally-defined limits for the following purposes:
• To ensure the operational reliability of our website, i.e. to detect misuse and remedy faults.

What data do we collect about you?

Our website already collects some data about your computer while you are using the website.If necessary, we use appropriate contact forms to collect data which directly concerns personal details.
We record technical characteristics via your computer. Essentially these are the name or IP address of your computer, the browser used (manufacturer, version number), your computer’s operating system, as well as the requests made by your web browser and the answers made to these by our web server.

How do we protect your data?

First of all, we reduce the collected data to a minimum and do without cookies and social media plug-ins (e.g. “Like” buttons) as far as is possible. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some elements of our website require that the browser calling our webpage can still be identified after changing pages. This way, we prevent you from constantly having to log in again and perhaps becoming the victim of a hacker attack.

For how long do we store your data?

We only store your data for as long as we need it to fulfill the relevant purpose.For newsletters, this is for as long as you do not unsubscribe.
Data needed for longer periods for use in statistical evaluations are only stored in an anonymized form, without a direct reference to your person.We store protocol data to detect misuse for seven days, in accordance with legal requirements.
