Intelligent Systems and Artificial Intelligence

Intelligent systems are problem-solving systems characterized by the ability to make rational decisions – even when the data situation is complex, incomplete or uncertain. At THU we are researching and developing these kinds of intelligent systems in different areas and different fields of application.
For example, one research group is looking at service robots, another team is developing a tool for model-based security analysis of technical systems and another is working on the intelligent control of energy networks. Here is an overview of our activities in the field of intelligent systems.

Service robotics
Model-based security analysis
Smart grids
Driver assistance systems
