Student Advisory Service
The student advisory service at your university will help you with your initial questions about studying. Here you can find out about application procedures, admission, and study options. Dr. Matthias Klepsch is available to you as a student advisor. You can find him in Room A208 (Prittwitzstrasse 10) or contact him by e-mail at studienberatung@thu.de. Verfasste Studierendenschaft (Students'
Council)
The Verfasste Studierendenschaft (VS) (only in German) forms the "student government" of a university and represents students' interests. Its responsibilities include organizing events, advising on student finance, and participating in university committees. Students – whether German or international students – are welcomed to help represent all students' interests, and help keep our services running. If you are interested, contact your VS directly.

The Psychosocial Counseling Center (PBS) of the Studierendenwerk Ulm offers support to students of the University of Ulm and other participating universities (Aalen, Biberach, Heidenheim, Schwäbisch Gmünd and Ulm).
Services offered:
Advice on all legal situations related to studying (e.g. university, funding and tenancy law).
Contact and information for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender and intersex people as well as those who do not wish to be categorized by a particular sexual or gender identity.
Women's advice center and women's shelter in Ulm
The public advice center for women who have experienced violence: offering advice and support – anonymously, in person, or by telephone – as well as assistance in finding doctors, therapists, lawyers, clinics, and other forms of help.
