Here are some important organizational tips for your time studying at THU.

It is clearly advantageous to be familiar with the framework conditions for your degree program.
Familiarize yourself with the regulations and structures early on, so that your studies run smoothly and so you will be able to look back on your time at university with fond memories.

Regulations and guidelines relevant for your degree program

The course and examination regulations (SPO) describe the structure of the course and define the framework conditions for examinations. You are expected to know the requirements it specifies for your degree program. You can find the appropriate course and examination regulations and all the regulations and guidelines relevant to your degree program online.

Already enrolled students will find other important documentation on the President's Office webpage on the intranet.

Registration for classes

From the summer semester 2024, you must register independently for all courses (including compulsory courses!) in the SELMA student portal.

You can find more information and instructions on the student portal in the SELMA Moodle course.

Re-registration in the next semester

If you are already enrolled at Ulm University of Applied Sciences and wish to continue your studies in the next semester, you need to re-register before the deadline. You re-register by submitting an application to re-register, as well as by paying the semester fees and course fees by bank transfer. To do this, please log in to the SELMA student portal. There you'll find the form for re-registration in the Online Applications (Online Anträge) section. The "make an application" button is located on the lower left. Please don't forget to send off your application when you've finished filling it out.

Please note: For security reasons, our new campus management system can only be accessed via the THU network. If you wish to access the THU network from outside, you'll need to set up a VPN connection first. You can find instructions for setting up a VPN connection here.

You can find out more about fees here.
