Über mich

Seit Januar 2026 Bestandteil des Lehrstuhls Physiotherapie an der Technischen Hochschule Ulm. Als promovierter Humanbiologe, Sportwissenschaftler (M.A.) und ausgebildeter Physiotherapeut verbindet er fundierte akademische Forschung mit vielseitiger praktischer Erfahrung.

Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit liegt an der Schnittstelle zwischen Leistungsdiagnostik, Trainingssteuerung und klinischer Sporttherapie – unter anderem im Profisport (u. a. als Co- und Athletiktrainer beim SSV Ulm 1846 Fußball) sowie im onkologischen Kontext am Universitätsklinikum Ulm.

  • Seit 01/2026: Professor für den Lehrstuhl Physiotherapie an der Technischen Hochschule Ulm (Fakultät Mechatronik und Medizintechnik).
  • Seit 01/2017: Co- und Athletiktrainer (sowie Leiter Athletik Jugendbereich seit 2022) bei der SSV Ulm 1846 Fußball GmbH & Co. KGaA in Kooperation mit dem Universitätsklinikum Ulm.
  • 10/2014 – 12/2025: Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter & Physiotherapeut am Universitätsklinikum Ulm (Sektion Sport- und Rehabilitationsmedizin); Therapieleitung der ambulanten/stationären Sporttherapie.
  • 06/2016 – 01/2022: Promotion zum Dr. biol. hum. an der Universität Ulm (Thema: Effekte von hoch-intensivem Ausdauer- und Krafttraining bei Brustkrebspatientinnen).
