Together with the University of Ulm, the THU has established a joint Center for Digitalization, Analytics, and Data Science in Ulm. Here, joint research projects in the field of data-driven sciences are carried out, platforms for academic exchange are created, and joint efforts to secure third-party funding are supported. Within this framework, cooperative doctoral programs are offered, and a program for continuing professional development is being established in collaboration with the School of Advanced Professional Studies (SAPS), which is also supported by the University of Ulm and the THU.

The center established by the University of Ulm and the Technical University of Ulm is complemented by the DASU Foundation, whose purpose is to strengthen knowledge transfer and the network between academia and businesses throughout the region and beyond. This allows resources to be pooled and repurposed for data-driven digitalization in the region. The foundation serves both large and small companies across all industries and welcomes new donors at any time.
