At Co-Founder Matching, over pizza, short pitches, and lively conversations, aspiring entrepreneurs and startups come together to share their ideas, listen to one another, and develop initial plans together. All startup ideas are welcome—whether sustainable, digital, or something entirely different: the main thing is that they’re versatile, practical, and forward-thinking!
Based on the speed-dating principle, the event offers the opportunity to meet like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere and find potential co-founders for a joint startup.

SparkUp —the networking event organized by the Startup Center at Ulm University of Applied Sciences for anyone interested in startups, innovation, and entrepreneurship—will take place on October 27 starting at 5:30 p.m.
Look forward to an inspiring evening with a guest entrepreneur who will share his personal startup story, experiences, and lessons learned with you. In addition, young startups will have the opportunity to present their ideas and companies in short pitches and gain valuable feedback as well as new contacts.
In addition to exciting insights into the startup world, there will be plenty of time for networking in a relaxed atmosphere—complete with free pizza and drinks, of course.

From November 18 to 20, the Startup Center is heading to Berlin, one of Europe’s most exciting startup hubs. During the three-day field trip, students will gain exclusive insights into Berlin’s startup ecosystem and learn firsthand how innovative companies are founded and grow.
The program includes visits to startups, companies, and other key players in the innovation ecosystem. Through discussions with founders and experts, participants will learn more about entrepreneurship, financing, scaling, and the challenges of everyday startup life. This provides valuable insights, new perspectives, and valuable contacts for their own entrepreneurial futures.
The program is complemented by a cultural event and a visit to the German Bundestag, allowing participants to also explore the political and cultural sides of the capital.
We’ll visit the Holocaust Memorial, the Bundestag, and two startups: TimeSec (digital time tracking for construction projects) and takeKONTROL (a platform for crisis preparedness, corporate resilience, and the ability to act in times of crisis)
The initial personal contribution is 75 euros. Depending on the final amount of the grant from the Bundestag, any excess funds will be refunded
For the trip there, we’ll meet on November 18 at 8:30 a.m. at Ulm Central Station. The return trip is scheduled for November 20, so we’re expected to arrive back in Ulm around 8:45 p.m.
There is also the option to stay in Berlin longer and arrange your own return trip
