We’re delighted that you’re interested in applying for a dual study programme! For both dual study options – the Ulm Model (study + apprenticeship) and the programme with an in-depth practical component (study + work placements within a company) – a separate contract with a company is required.
Do you feel well-informed and would like to apply straight away? On the THU application portal, you can create your application online, select your chosen degree programme and upload documents.
A separate contract with a partner company is required for the Ulm Model program.
Apply to a partner company with the most recent certificate (approx. 1 year before the start of the course) and conclude a training contract.
Submit application in the THU application portal with all necessary documents (including employment contract, certificate and CV) by July 15 at the latest.

You can apply for a place on a degree program with in-depth practical experience via the THU application portal. Ideally, the contract with the company should already be in place when you register for the course. However, it is also possible to first decide on a subject and then conclude and submit a contract during the course of your studies.
