The preparatory course offered by the Faculty of Mechatronics and Medical Technology at Ulm University of Applied Sciences helps you get off to a successful start in your degree programme. The course helps you make the transition from school or work to university easier, brush up on important basics and familiarise yourself with everyday student life at an early stage. This allows you to start your degree with greater confidence and a solid foundation.
You will also receive all other information about the preliminary course on the first day of the preliminary course. Participation in the preliminary course is of course voluntary.
Some information in advance:
The preliminary course for B.Sc. Physiotherapy students takes place in the first week of lectures.
The first semester welcome will take place on 16.03.2026 at the location Prittwitzstraße 10. The preliminary course Physiotherapy will take place from 17.03.2026 to 20.03.2026 at the location Albert-Einstein Allee. Regular lectures will start on 23.03.2026. If available, please bring your laptop or tablet and install the Office package (Software for students) in advance.
The preliminary course for the Medical Technology & Mechatronics degree programs takes place in the two weeks before the start of lectures, i.e. Mon-Fri from 02.03.2026 to 13.03.2026.
The preliminary course for Medical Technology and Mechatronics starts on 02.03.26 at 09:00 a.m. at Campus Prittwitzstraße 10. The rooms will be announced shortly.
