StartupSÜD is the new joint project of the regional universities of Biberach, Neu-Ulm, the University of Ulm and Ulm University of Applied Sciences, which aims to identify and strengthen the entrepreneurial potential of regional talent. Together, the universities are creating a cross-university start-up ecosystem with shared services and infrastructure in which innovative start-ups can emerge and grow.
In cooperation with the regional start-up centers and initiatives, StartupSÜD addresses the potential of the 20,000 students and employees at the four universities - especially in the early incubation phases.
StartupSÜD offers:
- Development of a mindset for entrepreneurial action in teaching and workshop formats
- Pitch events and networking events
- Development of interdisciplinary teams
- Early-stage incubator program
- Cross-university experimental field for start-up teams through the networked infrastructure with state-of-the-art technology
- Start-up consulting, mentoring and access to start-up grants (EXIST, Young Innovators, Flügge)
- Networking with sponsors and investors
