Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) - In depth practical training, The Ulm Model

Work-study programme in Production Management

The dual degree programme in Production Management at Ulm University of Applied Sciences (THU) combines technical expertise with business, logistics and digitalisation. If you want to play an active role in shaping production processes and optimising modern manufacturing workflows, this programme offers you the opportunity to combine theory and practice right from the start.

During your studies, you will focus on production engineering, business administration, IT and topics such as Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. During the practical phases, you will work directly within a company, assisting with the optimisation of production processes, analysing material flows or contributing to quality and logistics projects.

The programme can be completed as a dual study programme based on the Ulm model or with an in-depth practical component. The Ulm model also offers you recognised vocational training, for example as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician or metalworker specialising in design engineering.
