Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering

With its Bachelor’s degree programmes in ‘Mechanical Engineering’ and ‘Automotive Engineering’, the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering provides a sound theoretical education, complemented by practical lectures and state-of-the-art laboratories. They provide targeted preparation for attractive and future-proof career opportunities in industry – in Baden-Württemberg, across Germany and internationally. In cooperation with regional companies, the Faculty also offers both programmes under the “Ulm Model”, which combines academic study with industrial training and often enables students to enter the workforce directly.

The Master’s programmes in “Systems Engineering and Management – Mechanical Engineering” and “Mechanical Engineering” deepen specialist knowledge and qualify students for demanding technical and managerial roles. Supplementary qualifications, for example in industrial design, hydraulics or automotive expertise, as well as international experience, specifically broaden students’ professional profiles.
