Institute of Medical Technology & Mechatronics

The Institute of Medical Technology and Mechatronics (IMM) is part of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Medical Technology and brings the two laboratory areas together under one organisational umbrella. Students on the Bachelor’s degree programmes in Medical Technology and Mechatronics, as well as on the Master’s degree programme in Medical Technology, work at the IMM using modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art laboratory technology.

The Institute provides qualified staff and technical equipment for research projects. It works closely with companies, research institutes and clinics in the Ulm region.
