The Institute for Decentralized Electrification, Entrepreneurship & Education (id-eee) is an institute that researches, develops and promotes the implementation of solar energy generation applications. It has extensive experience in the areas of off-grid electrification and storage of solar power and the necessary system electronics. In addition, entrepreneurs around the world who implement the knowledge and technologies gained are supported and promoted through training, research and consulting.
The institute is an affiliated institute of the THU under the direction of Prof. Adelmann.
