Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) - In depth practical training, The Ulm Model

Work-study programme in Industrial Engineering

The dual degree programme in Industrial Engineering at Ulm University of Applied Sciences (THU) combines technical expertise with business management knowledge and enables you to gain valuable practical experience whilst you study. If you wish to combine technology and business, this programme offers the ideal blend of theory and practice.

During the practical phases, you will work directly within a company and gain insights into various departments. You will assist with the planning and optimisation of production processes, contribute to technical and business projects, or work in purchasing, production, quality management and controlling.

The programme can be completed as a dual study programme based on the Ulm model or with an in-depth practical component. The Ulm model additionally combines the degree programme with recognised vocational training, for example as an industrial mechanic or industrial clerk.
