Would you like to supplement your studies with practical experience in a company - without studying for longer? Then a degree course with in-depth practical experience is just right for you.
Here you combine your studies at the university with intensive practical work in a company. Theoretical and practical phases alternate in a targeted manner: during the semester you study at the university, and during the lecture-free period you gain valuable experience in the company. This means that at the end of your studies, you will have a particularly high practical component of around 50%.
Studying with advanced practical experience is possible on almost all Bachelor's and Master's degree courses.
Start your Bachelor's degree with in-depth practical experience flexibly in the winter or summer semester - depending on your degree program. If you have already signed your contract before the start of your studies, you will first get to know your company during a short introductory phase of two to four weeks. Your studies then begin directly at the university with the first lectures.
As you progress, you will alternate between theoretical and practical phases: you will study at THU during the lecture and examination periods and gain valuable practical experience at the company during the lecture-free periods. You will also complete your practical semester and your Bachelor's thesis directly at your partner company.
Depending on your degree program, you can start the Master's degree course with in-depth practical experience in the winter or summer semester. If you have already signed your contract before the start of your studies, you will first get to know your company during a short introductory phase of two to four weeks. The first lectures at THU will then start straight away.
During your studies, theory and practice alternate optimally: You will study at the university during lecture and examination periods and gain valuable practical experience with your practice partner during lecture-free periods. After three semesters, you will complete your studies with your Master's thesis.

Ideally, you will already have your contract with the company when you register for your studies. That way you're ready to go straight away.
If not, no problem: you can decide on your degree program first and complete and submit the contract later during your studies.
It is important that you apply for your degree program at THU as normal. You can only complete a degree program with in-depth practical experience if you are offered a place at THU.
