There are also opportunities to do sport on the THU campus itself. The THU running team takes part in races and runs such as the Einstein Marathon or the Spartacour Mud Run. University members can find information on this via the Moodle course "THU running team".
In Team Einstein Motorsport, students from Ulm and Neu-Ulm are working together to develop their own racing car for Formula Student. From the design and production to the business plan, everything is done independently alongside their studies. The team has been successfully participating in international competitions for many years and is one of the established Formula Student teams in Germany. A particular milestone in 2021 was the first fully electric racing car with an autonomous system. Since then, Einstein Motorsport has been continuously developing its vehicles - most recently with successful endurance participations and new technical innovations.
