The preparatory course run by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Ulm University of Applied Sciences helps you get off to a successful start in your degree programme. The course helps you make the transition from school or work to university smoother, brush up on important basics and familiarise yourself with everyday university life at an early stage. This will enable you to start your degree with greater confidence and a solid foundation.
It is aimed at first-year students on the following degree programmes:
Digital Production (DP), Energy Information Management (EIM), Energy Engineering (ENT), International Energy Economics (EWI), Production Management (PM), Environmental Engineering (UWT) and Industrial Engineering (WIN)
The preliminary course takes place in the weeks before the start of lectures from 02.03. to 13.03.2026 at the Prittwitzstraße campus. It is still possible to join at any time, even if the preliminary course is already running.
