The preparatory course run by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Ulm University of Applied Sciences is designed to help you get off to a successful start in your studies. The course helps you make the transition from school or work to university easier, refresh important basics and familiarise yourself with everyday student life at an early stage. This allows you to start your studies with greater confidence and a solid foundation.
It is aimed at first-year students on the following degree programmes:
Digital Production (DP), Energy Information Management (EIM), Energy Engineering (ENT), International Energy Economics (EWI), Production Management (PM), Environmental Engineering (UWT) and Industrial Engineering (WIN)
The preliminary course takes place in the weeks before the start of lectures from 02.03. to 13.03.2026 at the Prittwitzstraße campus. It is still possible to join at any time, even if the preliminary course is already running.
