Preliminary courses, Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Information Technology

The preparatory course run by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Ulm University of Applied Sciences helps you get off to a successful start in your degree programme.  The course helps you make the transition from school or work to university easier, brush up on important fundamentals and familiarise yourself with everyday university life at an early stage. This will enable you to start your degree with greater confidence and a solid foundation.

It is aimed at first-year students on the Electrical Engineering & Information Technology and Digital Media degree programmes.

  • Electrical Engineering & Information Technology and Digital Media: Starts on September 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., Prittwitzstraße 10, 89075 Ulm
  • Starting on the second day, the preparatory courses for Electrical Engineering & Information Technology, Digital Media, and Electrical Engineering & Information Technology will take place at Albert-Einstein-Allee 53.
