Registration for economics and social sciences courses and foreign language courses takes place via the SELMA online portal. Depending on the course, places can either be booked directly or allocated through a place allocation procedure (PVV).
There are two methods available in SELMA:
If you do not accept or decline an offer, the place is automatically allocated to subsequent students. You should therefore apply for all the courses you would like to take during the registration period. Only existing waiting lists will be considered.
Important: Since the summer semester 2024, registration for courses and examinations is done separately in SELMA. There is no automatic registration through participation in a course.

Registration takes place via the student portal SELMA. Please note that free remaining places after the place allocation procedure can only be requested by e-mail (ifm(at)thu.de). After the deadlines have expired, registrations and changes are only possible via the secretary's office: Room A 100, e-mail: ifm(at)thu.de, sprachen(at)thu.de.
