Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) - In depth practical training, The Ulm Model

Work-study programme in Business Informatics

The dual degree programme in Business Informatics at Ulm University of Applied Sciences (THU) combines computer science with business expertise and offers you the opportunity to play an active role in shaping the digital transformation of companies. If you are interested in IT, business and digital processes, you can combine theory and practice right from the start.

During the practical phases, you will work directly within the company and gain insights into various departments. You will assist with IT and software projects, analyse business processes, develop digital applications or help introduce new information systems. In this way, you will apply your knowledge of programming, databases, business administration and project management directly in practice.

The Business Informatics programme can be completed as a dual study programme based on the Ulm model or with an in-depth practical component. The Ulm model also offers you recognised vocational training, for example as an IT specialist.
