Coursework and examination results that you achieved prior to your studies at Ulm University of Applied Sciences (THU) or during a period of study abroad may be recognised or credited upon application.

The legal basis is the statutes for recognition and crediting at THU. According to §4(2) of the statutes, the examination board of your degree program decides on recognition or credit transfer. An expert opinion is obtained for interdisciplinary modules - particularly in the field of business administration and foreign languages. This is carried out by the Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (IFM) and the Language Center (SZ).
Recommendation: First submit your application for recognition to the IFM or SZ for a subject-specific review. Alternatively, you can submit the application directly to the Examination Board. In this case, the opinion will be obtained there.
Since November 2023, a separate review form is no longer required. Please use the standard university-wide application form.
