Through the Ulm MedTech Scholarship, five regional companies support young talent in the field of medical technology and help them launch their careers in the medical technology sector.
Students on the THU Master’s programme in Medical Technology can apply for the scholarship even before they start their studies and receive financial support for the first two semesters, as well as practical insights, opportunities for exchange and further development within the sponsoring company.
The scholarship is aimed at applicants to the MMD Master’s programme who have a keen interest in a career in medical technology in the Ulm region. Up to six students can take up the scholarship each semester.
300/month for a period of 2 semesters from enrollment.
Close contact with the sponsoring company:
Accompanying program such as company visits, further training, networking, etc. (The exact support program is designed by the sponsoring company)
Opportunity to write the Master's thesis at the sponsoring company
Application for a study place in MMD via our online application portal by March 1 (summer semester) or October 1 (winter semester).

If the study place at THU has been accepted, the sponsoring company will send the scholarship contract to the scholarship holders. Only students enrolled in the "Medical Devices - Research and Development" degree program can receive the scholarship.
