The TechInternational project, which is being carried out jointly by IFM and IO, aims to promote internationalisation at the THU and to embed it permanently in teaching, research, administration and university governance. The project, which will run for three years (2026–2028), is funded by the DAAD using funds from the BMFTR.
As part of the project, THU awards special scholarships for study stays at the three partner universities. One scholarship per university may be awarded each semester:
The application deadlines are June 1 for the summer semester and December 1 for the winter semester.
Applications are submitted via MoveON.
As part of the project, THU students will once again have the opportunity to participate free of charge in valuable personal development workshops in English during the 2026/27 winter semester. Registration takes place via Moodle.
The goal of the project is to embed internationalization at THU in a holistic and sustainable manner across various levels. To this end, networks are currently being established between THU faculty and staff and their counterparts at partner universities who work in comparable fields, and continuing education programs are being offered to staff.
As part of the project, regular exchange meetings (Global Week, individual exchange formats) are being established to promote professional dialogue, share experiences and knowledge, and develop and implement joint projects in the areas of administration, teaching, and research.
