Germany Scholarship

Working together to support young talent

The Germany Scholarship supports talented and committed students at state and state-recognised universities in Germany. Support is provided to students who are expected to achieve or have already achieved outstanding results in their studies and careers. In addition to academic achievements and previous career history, social commitment, a sense of responsibility and special social, family or personal circumstances are also taken into account.

Scholarship recipients receive 300 euros per month, with every private donation of 150 euros or more per month being matched by the federal government with 150 euros per month. 1,800 euros in private funds per year are required to support a student for two semesters.

Take the opportunity to receive a scholarship of 300 euros per month, which also offers contact with managers and potential employers. Scholarships are awarded regardless of income and can be combined with BAföG; however, double funding through other scholarships is generally not possible.

The next award will take place in the summer semester of 2027; information about the application period will be provided in good time beforehand.

The basis for awarding the Deutschlandstipendien are the statutes of the THU as well as the Scholarship Program Act (StipG) and the Scholarship Program Ordinance (StipV) of the Federal Office of Justice.
