Your pay grade is determined in accordance with the TV-L collective bargaining agreement. This means you will automatically receive the pay increases and the annual bonus provided for in the agreement.

Unless different working hours have been agreed upon, the standard weekly work schedule for a full-time position is currently 39.5 hours on average.

With a five-day workweek, you are currently entitled to 30 days of vacation per calendar year.
You also have Christmas and New Year's Eve off.

Depending on your area of responsibility, we offer flexible models for remote work (up to 50%). You can discuss the specifics of how this applies to your role on an individual basis with your manager.

As a salaried employee, you are additionally covered for retirement through the Federal and State Pension Fund (VBL). The VBL supplements the statutory pension insurance. In addition, as an employee of the State of Baden-Württemberg, you can apply for capital-forming benefits.
Upon request, the funds will be paid into a capital-forming contract of your choice.

Your experience level within the pay grade is determined by your eligible work experience.

To place you in the correct experience level, we need your complete employment references, unless these were already included in your application materials. If no formal references are available, a certificate of employment stating the period of employment and a description of your duties will suffice.

We will draw up your individual employment contract as soon as you have accepted the job offer and the staff council has approved the hire. The terms of the contract are based on the TV-L and the applicable regulations of the State of Baden-Württemberg.

Your employment contract will include, among other things, details regarding your pay grade, scope of employment, working hours, contract term, and probationary period.

If the position is temporary, we unfortunately cannot make any binding statements at this time regarding a future conversion to a permanent position. Provided there is an ongoing need for staff and the budgetary and legal requirements for the position are met, continued employment is generally possible. However, a decision on this matter can only be made at a later date.
