Research and teaching priorities

My research and work focus on AI-based signal processing, multimodal learning and sensor fusion, new methods in radar sensor technology, and applications in scanning electron microscopy, nanoanalytics and technical cleanliness.

In my teaching, I cover the areas of engineering mathematics and physics, as well as courses in computer vision and machine learning, physical methods and advanced signal processing. The courses combine fundamental concepts with technical applications and practical problems.

In my research, I combine mathematical and physical modelling with experimental and data-driven methods. The aim is always to quantitatively capture and evaluate complex technical and scientific problems and to make the results usable for practical applications.
